Sei un simpaticone... se avessi letto il mio post ti saresti accorto che non parlavo del A/F ma di F.
Comunque grazie lo stesso per la tua illuminazione. A sto punto preciso che grassa è 14,7:1 giusto per pignoleggiare

The functioning of the SAI is known to you?

If not, then here a short description:
The SAI, performs your exhaust system e.g. in closed loop additional air. That performs in the exhaust system to a post combustion of unburned gases.
This afterburning is the supposed misfire.
The SAI is also responsible for flames out from the exaust system, if you close the throttle or when you downshift.


Solution: mechanically closing the SAI access to the valve cover and the air box.
Disconnect the electrical connection from the SAI (plug disconnect) and turn off the SAI in your map.

Hi Tom!
I have an Arrow low boy on my Speed R 2012,I downloaded the Arrow map and I closed the valve cover with some machined plates made by myself.
I've done the reset adaptation,so I've let the bike to the idle till the tps became green.
After some fuel trim change,the map is really good and the bike is great,but when i'm riding the bike and I close the throttle I have some afterburn between 5200rpm and 3500rpm,when the bike is on the stand is PERFECT.
What do you think I have to do?
If I disconnect the SAI connector and I turn off the SAI in the map,then I can do the reset adaptation anyway?Or there will be problems?

Another question,is there a limit to the progressive checksum or we can do all the test we want without problems?

buongiorno a tutti. Qualcuno saprebbe dirmi qual'è la giusta procedura per fare il reset adattamento dopo aver caricato la nuova mappatura per la TRIUMPH THUNDERBIRD STORM ABS My 2013.
Sul sito tuneecu ci sono varie procedure e non capisco quale sia quella corretta. Grazie in anticipo!

The easiest way is as follows:

1. Ensure the transmission is in neutral.
2. Ensure the ECM has no stored faults (DTCs).
3. WITHOUT TOUCHING THE THROTTLE, start the engine and allow it to warm up to 90°C (60°C on Bonneville, Scrambler, Thruxton, America, and Speedmaster models).
4. Leave the engine to idle for a further 12 minutes.

- Reset adaption with TuneECU:
- Reconnect with TuneECU
- Select Reset Adaptation (takes about 30 seconds for the menu item to come selectable
as TuneECU connects).
- Once reset and with Tune ECU still connected.
- start your bike. Make sure you don't touch / twist the throttle - just thumb the starter until she fires.
Watch the TPS indicator at the bottom left corner of the TuneECU screen. When it goes green
(after about 15 - 20 minutes bike has to come to temp etc....) the ECU has baselined the TPS.
If the TPS light doesn't turn green after twenty minutes, don't worry and turn the engine off anyway as
sometimes it doesn't trigger, and in our experience the job is done anyway.
- Disconnect ECU on the TuneECU menu.
- Turn off your bike.
- Disconnect your computer from the bike. Now have fun.

Check with TuneECU.

If there are errors, just delete with TuneECU.

A remapping is not thereby required.
