All Arai helmets available on the European markets are the same as
they are all approved by the ECE 22-05 homologation. Only the Arai
helmets in France are slightly different as the French law requires
reflective stickers on the helmet, but the product itself is identical
to others.
Arai helmets available in America and Asia are different. First of all
they apply different approval tests, so the product specifications are
different. As the approvals are not similar to the European standards,
it is not allowed to wear a non-ECE 22-05 tested helmets.
Besides the homologation, also the average head sizes are different in
each continent. Arai produces helmets in the sizes which are average
in the continent of destination. Therefore a helmet produced for the
American and Asian might not fit you well.
