Job Description
The Inside Sales Representative, based at our EMEA headquarters in Cork, will hold a quota-carrying sales position and will have responsibility for generating opportunities, following up on opportunities, engaging with opportunities and closing opportunities generated from our Marketing, Sales and Channel organisations.
Primary Responsibilities
• Quota-carrying inside sales representative for small and medium opportunities in an assigned sales territory
• Cooperating with Account Manager and Inside Sales Manager to determine targets, sales approach and channel linkage
• Identifying decision makers amongst the targeted leads in order to start sales process.
• Lead qualification for prospects, current customers and related sales opportunities.
• Enter related sales data into SalesForce.Com and keep an updated record of customer, deal and prospect information.
• Inbound and outbound call and contact management
• Qualify prospects and opportunities generated by marketing or other demand generation campaigns. Hand over qualified leads to either a major account manager, a territory manager or an assigned partner.
• Monitor sales deals as they move through the different deal stages and remotely support relevant sales channels with closing the opportunity.
• Support channel partners mainly VAR’s or resellers to qualify and close Aruba Instant opportunities sub 25k.
• Up-selling and leveraging business from new and established customer relationships.
• Support assigned Aruba territory manager or partner sales and drive smaller deal to a successful close over the phone. Make sure that the orders are placed with a partner and that the partner follows up.
• Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly forecast information to assigned manager and update forecast information accordingly.
• Work with marketing, product and sales management on implementing product launches, promotions and other sales and marketing campaigns and get information out to target prospects and customers.
• Manage in region or country leads and prospects generated by telephone or web based inquiries. Qualify the opportunities and pass them on to the appropriate sales channel.
• Attending sales group meetings concerning sales targets or forecasts, reporting on market situation.
• Providing feedback and input into continuous improvement initiatives, competitive observations and other market movements
Success in this role will require a self motivated, positive, collaborative and hard-working professional being results focused and success oriented..
Desired Skills and Experience
• 2-3 years’ experience in tele-sales, inside sales or channel support role for a high tech company
• Excellent engagement skills to facilitate result focused dialog using unified communication channels like phone, web and collaboration tools.
• Excellent communication skills, clear articulation and good listening skills
• Experience on Mobility products and solutions including WIFI, WLAN and Secure Network Edge Access would be an advantage
• Track record in achieving assigned targets quarterly
• Bi Lingual and cultural skills with English and second mother tongue to cover assigned sales regions or country
• Proactive, creative, resourceful and results oriented
• Good technical knowledge (Word, PowerPoint, XLS, SalesForce and SAP) preferred
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills, comfortable in an international setting
• Takes initiative, accountability & responsibility for own work

• This is a full-time role based in Cork, Ireland
• Salary and compensation will be commensurate with experience and performance
